Pro-psychiatry that actually cures people. Author of "The Secrets to Real Mental Health" and "Goodbye, Quacks - Hello, Homeopathy!" AND I block MAGAts.
@mikiesherrill.bsky.social I hope you'll also, someday soon, force psychiatrists to provide psychiatric care proven to either restore or cure mental illnesses. The APA has been fighting these approaches longer than I've been alive. I used both to CURE my loved ones of "incurable" mental illnesses.

Sadly, Nick Reiner was never given psych treatment to cure him, just drugs that enrich the APA and their business buddies, the drug companies. The APA fights against the approaches that either restore a person's mental health or actually cure them such as (restorative) Orthomolecular medicine.

The Flexner Report dealt the near-death blow to homeopathy in the US. It was too much competition for the AMA and APA. It cured people and still does while "modern" medicine only "manages" illnesses such as Nick Reiner's "incurable" "schizophrenia." Homeopathy cured 2 of my "incurable" loved ones.
December 21, 2025 at 4:39 PM
In 1910 the "Flexner Report" was released, claiming homeopathy was some old, quaint, ineffective form of medicine that needed to be replaced by man-made (patentable) drugs that only "manage" symptoms — and cure no one. That's the lousy healthcare we have today all across the US. Homeopathy CURES.
December 21, 2025 at 4:30 PM
@radiofreetom.bsky.social Tom, please write about how Rob Reiner's son, Nick, was never, ever, given mental health treatment to even TRY to cure him. NOT ONCE. Our mental health care system doesn't work that way. It's crappy chemicals to suppress symptoms — or nothing. Psych drugs CURE NO ONE.
December 20, 2025 at 5:28 PM
So many families being destroyed every single day across America due to mental illness because there's no money in curing people. The APA fights against restorative or curative approaches, hires lobbyists to make sure no bill is introduced into Congress that might change the system. So very sad.
December 20, 2025 at 1:13 AM
@usatodayopinion.usatoday.com If an investigative reporter at USAToday were willing to think outside the box, he/she could start the ball rolling to end the problem of mental illness in the US. Mental illnesses have been curable for 200 years, just not with patented, psych drugs.
December 19, 2025 at 3:52 AM
Synthetic drugs aren't designed to cure anyone, so why would they? They're the same as giving cough syrup to a pneumonia sufferer and, when the person isn't cured, assuming pneumonia is "incurable." I bet 99% of Americans make this faulty assumption. I learned the truth by doing my own research.
December 19, 2025 at 3:35 AM
Again, the World Health Organization (WHO) says homeopathy is the second most widely used system of medicine in the world. It appears to work via energy, vibration. That's what cured 2 of my family members of "incurable" mental illnesses, "bipolar with psychosis" and "schizophrenia."
December 19, 2025 at 3:25 AM
@johnpavlovitz.bsky.social What eventually cured my son of his "bipolar with psychosis" and another relative of "schizophrenia" was homeopathy. The World Health Org (WHO) says it's the second most widely used system of medicine in the world — because, unlike western medicine, it cures people.
December 19, 2025 at 2:29 AM
@johnpavlovitz.bsky.social I'm glad you've found answers to depression including synthetic drugs and other approaches. In my family, what cured my anxiety disorder was NAET (acupuncture). I was cured before I got off the table. The "orthomolecular" approach "disappeared" my son's "bipolar."
December 19, 2025 at 2:28 AM
@johnpavlovitz.bsky.social John, thank you for your well-written story about your depression. My family is no stranger to mental disorders (bipolar with psychosis, depression, schizohrenia, anxiety, etc). We're all fine now thanks to approaches that actually cure people. Psych drugs don't cure ppl.
December 19, 2025 at 2:23 AM
@splasharooni.bsky.social I don't want anyone to feel shame from bipolar with psychosis disorder! American psych drugs don't cure it because they're not even designed to. They're made for the purpose of bringing in the most $$$ possible to the APA and their business buddies, the drug companies.
December 19, 2025 at 1:22 AM
@splasharooni.bsky.social When my loved one had "incurable" "bipolar with psychosis," he recovered under "orthomolecular" treatment. His histamine level had been too high. It was pretty easy to fix with nutritional supplements from the health food store. Then he was cured with homeopathy.

NAMI may be a good place to commiserate with others suffering from a loved one's mental illness but NAMI doesn't support treatment that cures people, just the same, old profits-before-patients drugs. Sadly, they accept money from drug companies, an incentive to stay with the drug approach.
December 18, 2025 at 4:55 PM
It's so sad and tragic to lose Rob Reiner and his wife to violence. His son may have taken illegal drugs to self-medicate his "incurable" mental illness. Mental illness is always incurable if the only treatment is lousy, man-made chemicals. They're not even designed to cure anyone, so they don't.
December 18, 2025 at 4:47 PM
The Am Psychiatric Association has 100% freedom to use any approach they like in treating patients — with zero oversight by the US government. Interesting how they've chosen the approach that has a proven, government-audited recovery rate of .0005%. (King County Ordinance #13974, 2003 Annual Report)

Want to fact-check what I've told you? Call your congressperson. Ask them to contact the Congressional Research Service, the top authority on which laws we have in the US and which ones we don't. They'll tell you: there is NO law that requires psychiatrists to even try to cure anyone.
December 18, 2025 at 3:39 PM
The United States has widespread mental health problems, in part, because mental health care isn't designed to cure anyone, just bring in the highest possible profits. There is ZERO attempt to find, let alone correct, any of the proven physical causes of these illnesses — just drug people.
December 18, 2025 at 3:37 PM
@kevinmkruse.bsky.social I think the biggest cover-up of the last century of American history is that mental illnesses are curable, just not with man-made psych drugs. The APA has been fighting against medicine that cures people since the 1800s: homeopathy. It cured TWO of my "incurable" loved ones.
December 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM
@bgrueskin.bsky.social The biggest cover-up of the last century is that there is no law that says psychiatry must even TRY to cure anyone — so it doesn't. That's why NO ONE is cured. The APA has been fighting against curative mental health care since the 1800s.
December 18, 2025 at 1:55 PM
@wsunursing.bsky.social As a nurse, you're expected to give patients the drugs that are pushed by both the AMA and APA, not to cure anyone, just somewhat suppress symptoms, leading to so much burnout among nurses. Homeopathy CURES mental illnesses. The AMA and APA fight against it.
December 18, 2025 at 1:09 AM
@progressgeorgia.bsky.social Almost all Americans see that psych meds don't cure mental illness so they ASSUME it's incurable. It's the drugs that are the real problem. Both of my "incurable" loved ones were CURED because I dumped the psych meds and hired a professional homeopath to treat them.
December 18, 2025 at 12:54 AM
@nytimes.com To Megan Twohey: Homeopathy has been curing mental illnesses for 200 years but the Am Psych Ass'n fights against this approach — and cures no one.The Congressional Research Service says there's no law requiring the APA to cure anyone. They don't even have to try.
December 17, 2025 at 11:55 PM
@govpressoffice.gov.ca.gov I support you but I'm afraid you're promoting the same old system of mental and physical health care that cures no one. If you would just "think outside the box" a little, you would be open to mental health treatment that CURES people instead of just suppressing symptoms.
