A cover of an old videogame magazine. Beyond the title cards and teases for the content, the dominant image is a bizarrely angled rendition of a scene from Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior. It is Blanka's stage, a riverside dwelling in the amazons. There is a large knotted tree with an orange snake wrapped around it. The snake makes no anatomic sense. The conflict in the image is Blanka drawn in a stiff yet overly detailed style, punching Dhalsim (an hindu mystic) to the ground. The faces of both Blanka and Dhalsim are expressive, but unreadable. Just messes of lines not conveying anything understandable.

Great Teacher Onizuka, Ep 8.
A screenshot from an anime series. It depicts a man in a bowling alley, having done a destructive toss against bowling pins that resulted in actually shattering them. The man responsible is Eikichi Onizuka, a twenty-something former biker gang member, now high school teacher. He's looking at the camera, doing a victory sign with his left hand. Ironclaw Orcs by Anson Maddocks, art for Magic: The Gathering
An old Magic: The Gathering card, way before it became cardboard fornite. It's a red card for Ironclaw Orcs, yes, plural, even though the creature is just a single orc. Its cost is 1 colorless, 1 red. The picture depicts a hideous humanoid with green-grayish skin, a stumpy noise with slits instead of holes, eyes that are red in its sclera, with tiny white pupils instead, a form-fitting red helmet, a huge square jaw, jagged, messy teeth and two big red shoulderpads. The background is maybe a burning scene, or just abstract fire. There are a series of glyphs on the top right part of the portrait, black background, gold symbols. The type is "Creature -- Orc" and the rules say "Ironclaw Orcs can't block creatures with power 2 or greater." The flavor text is: "Generations of genetic weeding have given rise to the deviously cowardly Ironclaw clan." The card's power is 2/2. Credits: "Illus. A cover of an old comic. The top third is covered by the title, in bright red and tingling text: METEOR MARTIN and in smaller size the subtitle: and the MONSTERA of GORIKON. The remaining cover shows a deserted alien landscape under a yellow sky. Some hideous yet droopy looking green alien with many arms has clutched a BABE. King of the Bad Men of Deadwood #1 (Avon 1950) -one-shot, cover by Everett Raymond Kinstler.
A cover for an old time comic book. Top half it puts the title KING OF THE BAD MEN OF DEADWOOD in bright, white, western-style letters. It also puts the price: Ten Cents. There's also a preview of one of the characters in the stories: Sam Bass, a dual revolver wielding, bandana wearing bandit of sorts. The bottom half is the action shot, three rough-tumbling men are fighting in a saloon. With his back turned to a set of green, wooden swinging doors, the most prominent figure is simultaneously grabbing (and slamming?) one man by the nape of his neck with his left hand, and with his right, he's shooting an oddly angled revolver. His bright red shirt is cut open in several places, and his yellow dotted neckerchief flutters on due to the ACTION. Behind the red-shirted man is a black haired man with a sour expression and a thin, elegant mustache. He's about to sneak behind the red shirted man and pummel him with a revolver being grabbed as a club of sorts.

An image of Chun-Li and Ryu in their Street Fighter 2 ages/style. Chun is moving close to Ryu, inadvertently cutting him in the arm with her wrist spikes. Both Ryu and Chun are disgusted or shocked at something outside the frame. There are too zoomed in cuts on the right, one showing Ryu's punctured bicep and his harsh pained expression.

A very old LED based electronic game. It depicts a blue mountain range background with some GUI elements at the bottom, and some characters in the foreground. The two characters in the game-plane are some sort of bat-bird monster and Karnov, russian mystic strongman. Karnov is... squatting? Bending? Flexing? with a look of extreme effort and duress on his face.

An incoherent, but action packed poster. On the top, we see a very young and not very japanese Ryu doing a flying kick. He is burning up for some reason. His face is a mess of unfocused anger. Lower, from left to right, we see Genki the ninja mid air flip, Joe the american heel kicking Ken in the face, and then Mount Rushmore floating in the background. Then, on the lowest row, we see Eagle, Lee (tiny compared to the rest of the cast, but towering over China) kicking, and finally Birdie and Mike with their fists raised, looking menacingly at the viewer.

What we got here are two quality goons, some real palookas, some real wiseguys, veritable mooks. They're in a shady warehouse, 'cause of course they are, their natural habitat. A hanging lamplight peeks from the top left corner. One of the goons is roughing up the other fella, holding him violently from the lapels. They're both wearing drab grey suits. The goon in the bottom is a hood, wearing some sort of fancy hat with a red rim. The mook holding the other palooka has a violent, demented look in his growling face. He's screaming "DON'T TELL ME WHAT I'VE GOT TO WORRY ABOUT!" to the other guy.

The Punisher, (1993) Genesis NTSC Box Art Case
A cover for a videogame. Besides a barrage of logos from Capcom, Marvel Comics, the Sega Genesis and the ESRB rating, the scene is Frank Castle and Nick Fury shooting and action posing in front of a blurry background of ACTION made of BULLETS AND EXPLOSIONS. Nick Fury in the background is holding an anatomically impossible pose, with his right arm all pumped up, he has a Shit Eating Grin. In the visual center of the cover, the main draw is the titular PUNISHER, a wall of obscene mismatched bloated man-muscle covered in the tightest, most stretched out fabric. The foreshortening makes his hands look huge, bigger than his head. And his face is just an insane rabid scream, completely deformed.

A cover of comic stories related to CRIME. The overall style is very stereotypical for old comics, with thick lines and very high contrast shadows. The top of the image has in big letters JOURNAL OF CRIME as the title. Then we see the action scene: a rough looking criminal man being chased by DA COPS sprinting in from the background. The criminal has several curious anatomical and perspective errors which make his face uncanny, almost like an accidental picasso drawing. He's wearing a large dark blue jacket and pants, and a red turtleneck shirt(?). Below the main action are the following text prompts: CRIME NEVER PAYS (lies), 132 PAGES ILLUSTRATED IN FULL COLOR and as part of the actual scene: DANGER !!
