Our weather turns much cooler on Saturday, so it’ll feel more like Fall here. Right now we have the strange combination of Fall colors and short sleeve weather.

A squirrel pantry built on a large branch of a Sunburst Locust. It contains outdoor lightbulbs, snitched from Goodport’s back yard.

They’re a crazy delight. I’m putting up my lights tomorrow for the party, because if done earlier, the squirrels chew the through connections to the lightbulbs and steal them — thinking the bulbs are some kind of nut. 🙄

It just seems that humans have such a skewed belief in their own superiority and understanding, that other animals are seen driven merely by survival instincts, or the blind direction of evolution. I wonder how many of these scientists actually have a relationship with an animal.
