At long last some progress again. Right now random notes are generated, but eventually a real melody must be played. #IndieDev #GameDev #GodotEngine

Relax with a good story after an exhausting night of stargazing. #indiedev #gamedev #godotengine

Do these constellations look unfamiliar? If you get stuck, look into the big book of constellations.

Neat Ghibli style :) I am not very artsy but: Here's an aerial shot from Laputa with people. They are easy to spot due to more satured colors, outlines! and somewhat simple because only three major colors per character are used. You could use the colors to distinguish different kinds of villagers.

I made a chesslike tactics game last year. I used nature packs, particles, blasters and the characters. I added some animations to the characters and made additional models.
It's great that that you made the blend-files available as well.

I thought I wouldn't have enough time for hobbies because of work and family, but I've managed to make no less than four games this year. They're rather small, two were made during game jams, but I'm still proud of them. It was a good year! #gamedev #indiedev #godot

This 2019 game jam entry lives rent-free in my mind. The player is a sailor lost at sea. In order to make it home they have to draw the correct constellation from a story book. Recreated the basic interaction in Godot 4.

Here's the original. In the full game players have to draft troops from the colonies and the commander's experience determines the number of attacks allowed per turn.

There is still plenty of room for improvement :/
Until next time :)

Ludum Dare 56 is the first time I joined the game jam. It's about tiny creatures Demodex that live on your face. Look it up, it's disgusting.
