Americans like me got the short end of the stick with Simon’s Quest because the translation was famously bad, but the Japanese original mostly made sense, and guides you in the right direction without making things too obvious.

Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest for me. Its not a bad game, just widely misunderstood. It tried (and succeeded) to turn the original Castlevania into what we now dub “Metroidvania”.

Though I might ask first before doing anything, idk how they feel about others using their oc without permission
