And secondarily to your point, needing to punch in a passcode so often probably encourages people to pick shorter worse passcodes. It’s a lot easier to have a gnarly multi word passphrase if you only need to put it in one or two times a day during regular use.

Yeah, if you go in with a policy of taking no prisoners and have your enemy surrounded you shouldn’t be surprised when they fight back with every ounce of will they have left.

I think that’s assuming you need to batch the flips in unrelated sets of 10 instead of just having a run of 10 heads anywhere in a longer set of flips.

I’d do the math if I knew how to (but I don’t).

No, requiring ID would have a chilling effect as anyone with more radical ideas would need to deal with the real possibility they would be personally targeted for them.

It’s hard for me to criticize on this passage alone. As you said, it’s clearly not about avoiding the word “killed”. Maybe an attempt at some wordplay juxtaposing “unalived” with “lived”. Maybe some kind of humor considering the speaker’s counterparty is clearly still alive enough to talk.

I have this same stove. The P is actually the highest setting meant for quickly boiling water. It’s time limited because of the amount of power it uses and also limits the amount of power the other burners can get.

And I can’t remember at all why it’s “P”.

It’s a privileged viewpoint, but I’ve never in my life thought “I’m not taking the bus, it’s too expensive” but plenty of times thought “I’m not taking the bus, there isn’t good enough service to get me from here to there in a timely and reliable way.”
