Schools would definitely help because there's no guarantee that the Home environment is suitable.
The way my dad treated my mum & well the majority of people was at best poorly.
I was lucky to have other positive male role models.
But also some strong female influences in my life

I initially wondered what the hell I was watching & the super long super fast list of potential side effects made it sound safe NOT to take it.
Like the power tool infomercials showing people who'd probably struggle to change a light bulb...

It was a weird culture shock.
As I had visited family in Canada I thought I might been used to it but I didn't pay much attention to TV unless it was Hockey 🏒 I don't think it registered with me.

For example in my experience while in new York I watched The Simpsons in the hotel. 3 ad breaks.
