My chaos lord for my slaves to darkness spearhead. The others aren't done but they all are noblemen who fell to chaos and wear armor fashioned from bones and dye their capes with vampire blood as they prowl Shyish. Also snobs.

I am pleased to see she does, in fact, have an entire body in addition to noggin.

I am going to paint up the Blooded Kill Team and it will be a toss up between Slaanesh or Tzeentch! Slaanesh I feel is more interesting, but...blue is my favorite color.

I support whatever the skaven are in, but yeah. I love the idea of a whole realm of the dead (my homebrew clan is a bunch of black metal rats living there) but man there is something about the smaller scale and lived in feel that can't be beat.

Some of the most satisfying hand to hand combat I've ever played.

I enjoyed the Black Plague trilogy. It's harder to find outside of an e-book (thanks GW) but it has plenty of skaven antics (highlighting some lesser known clans like Mordkin and Verms), has an interesting necromancer character, and shows the old empire (1000 years prior to fantasy) kicking ass.

Seconding this. Skarsnik and Headtaker are some of the best I've ever read, the first for making Skarsnik a compelling underdog, and the second for adding some depth to the skaven (particularly in the form of my man Sleek Sharpwit). Throgrim was good too don't get me wrong.
