Me: Wait, I thought Arise was the best selling Tales of entry? It only got to that point last year!? I know sales number doesn't mean quality. But sales number was the only thing Arise had to boast itself after it stripped away so much. And it took years + an expansion DLC?😑

Me: (Read sarcastically) You telling me games trying to "age up with their audience' doesn't always work? Look at well Tales Of Arise and Final Fantasy XVI that got MATURE AND EDGY did!😎

Brother: It's like how some Persona fans keep wanting a series that revolves around teenagers to "grow up". Just go play Catherine already, these people are more like Vincent than they would like to believe.

Brother: It's like how people want series to "grow up with them". Which usually translates to "make it edgy, like me" and stop catering to the actual demographic the series targets.

It's such a goofy thing, but it's a "controversy" I never forgot because of how small scale it was. Even funnier with the journalist thinking Sony made the game and saying they're "passing the blame" to Valve XD.

Whenever you get around to Portal 2 (if you get around to Portal 2). I need to remember to mention one of the goofiest "video game controversies" that involved Portal 2. It was small scale, nonsensical and very goofy. But I love mentioning it because people tend to not know it.

All I will say is, the 2nd game has 2 campaigns. The single player campaign that continues off of what you did with Chell. And a co-op campaign with different characters, needing think around using 4 portals to solve test chambers.

2 things:

1. The ending was changed in an update to better flow into Portal 2. Since the original ending did not include the "party position" bit.

2. It was originally a student project that was turned into a full game after Valve hired the students.

Apparently the games I played for the longest time from 3DS to Switch.

Spending more time on the Wii U Version of Tokyo Mirage Sessions makes sense. I remember being partway into a New Game Plus run.

Me: FF8 lets you spam Limit Breaks if you have Low HP or Aura. Even official videos just show Limit Break spamming XD. FF10's Overdrives carry into fights letting you get big damage off the bat. Or just have Yuna summon Yojimbo and one shot literally anything in the game.
