My beautiful treasures from @peculiarityshop.bsky.social arrived in the mail today! Each piece is even more stunning in person than in the listings. Grateful to have found a shop with the option to convert earrings to clips for those of us without pierced ears. Makes a world of difference for me. 🌻

This, for me, is the big one. People assume all sorts of shit even I open my mouth & my accent comes out. Learned that real quick when I studied abroad at Oxford. Southern accents are now shorthand for ignorance & racism. Unfortunately, that helps people think the problems are limited to the South.

Senator Peters, this is a constituent from Ypsilanti faxing. I'm faxing to let you know how disappointed I am in the Democrats and the way the party is ceding ground to fascism when the country is going through a Constitutional crisis. I voted for you so that Michigan would have a stalwart fighter in the Senate who would actively vote for the betterment of our state's young men and women. I am petrified! Petrified by the voting behavior of Senate Democrats this far into Donald's second term! There’s many things that I read in the funding bill that are atrocious, like cuts to domestic programs (including, but not limited to Healthcare and veterans programs). This spending bill is an absolute disgrace and Senate Democrats should NOT be complicit. Stop the capitulation to the right. There is a difference between bipartisanship and allowing them to strip America to sell her for parts. Please keep fighting for America. Don't be a rubber stamp for oligarchs and nazis. Vote NO. Sincerely, 🔥🫠🔥 PS: Since Senator Slotkin is not accepting faxes, could you pass on this message? Say NO, Senator Slotkin! Say no! Stop it!
