I've rewatched Twin Peaks recently and now seeing this Dune meme, I've realized that Stilgar in (David Lynch's) Dune is played by Big Ed! 😲🤯

Well, a couple of years later, he did play a prizefighting boxer/longshoreman in On the Waterfront! And while his character was wearing jackets throughout the movie, someone playing a character like that must've been built.

At first I thought this was like the best case scenario for this deck, having 10 lands and 512 power Tifa on turn 4, but then I thought what if I had Scapeshift, instead of the unused Over the Edge, and played it before Lumra, getting 7 lands including 3 self-sacrifice... 33million power turn 4? 🤔

Feels so nice to play Tifa against Mono-Red and Boros Aggro decks and beat them at their own damn game 😊

The first one came out in NA before any Fire Emblem games, in 1992. It was called Warsong.

But they weren't promoted as such and definitely nobody ever officially introduced Elden Ring or any of the others as PvPvE focused multiplayer titles...

The manual had in-engine renders. This is Nomura's art in the same pose. I do think the card looks horrible, as borderless with this background, but I do think the art could've worked, if there was more thought put into how to fit it onto a card.

I've beaten the game last year for the RetroAchievement Challenge League, but didn't have the time to farm the Rages or to farm levels to do the post-game content, so I've caught up with it over the last couple of weeks and finally have another Final Fantasy checked off 🙂

Finally, after finishing Dragons' Den, Kaiser Dragon, Omega and Soul Shrine yesterday, I finished all of Rages today for the 100% RA mastery. The last one being the bugged Death Warden, which only appears on Veldt when you re-encounter him in Soul Shrine #retroachievements #finalfantasy #retrogaming

"Psychadelic JamBand Progressive Rock" seems ultra specific for what is usually just called prog rock 😅 But yeah, these pretty much sum up my musical tastes, maybe along with prog metal and classic rock...
