Well, I certainly misinterpreted. It's more realistic, sadly, and kind of a shame that a career employee had to take a stand and resign. I hope he is scooped up by a decent employer. Of course, it would be great if any Trump appointees actually showed that level of integrity.

This makes sense when you consider that Musk and Trump are planning very huge business deals with Russia. Bigly.

Any resignations by the few Trump appointees with gonads is a good sign of their personal common sense and morality.

Two heads should be smarter than one, but the Musky-trump combo has taken the already unintelligent and inhumane Trump cult and turned them into an even lower IQ gathering of dimwits with the titles of Trump cabinet leaders and advisors.

While Musky-Trump's ridiculous cutting of $ to help starving, desperate humans is making the US look like immoral dirt-bags, their cutting of intelligence-cyber $ is also making the unstoppable technical connecting of humans more vulnerable to their new autocratic pals.

Strangely, while Musky-Trump are intentionally causing a nationwide recession by eliminating jobs and increasing unemployment (which, of course, would bring prices down), they're asking their die-hard fans to give them money. Sadly, they don't believe that's a problem.

Our tax dollars at work: the goal is to satisfy Trump's racist tendencies and to appease his base. Not much is being gained by the dog and pony show of force that couldn't be done more cheaply and with more intelligence.

School choice has always been about taking sorely-needed money from public schools and giving it to private or parochial schools. In reality, the quality of underachieving schools could be accomplished by improving the day-to-day lives of any students who are hungry, poor, or abused.

Shouldn't any such deal require the approval of Ukraine? Who are we and Russia to force the attacked country into a deal that benefits the attacker?

Agreed. The manipulative representation by Musk and DOGE (and of course, Trump) of statistics is really nothing but lies. They are trying to groom the public to accept the massive cuts to services and regular people, and then justify their massive tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires. Crooks.

The sad thing is this is a ponzi scheme, and the driving forces are based on consumption of extraction resources and growth in human population, without an iota of concern for sustainability of the planet's eco-sphere. Greed is its real name, not investing.
