These people are astoundingly wimpy. Afraid of what, exactly? Meeting a public with whom they're astoundingly unpopular? This party is weak and not fit to lead.

All the issues that we care deeply about don't have a chance without a system that supports them. The big fish here is our democracy itself. Keep your eyes on the long game. They want to kill our government.
The DEI caused the plane crash narrative is a distraction. The tariffs are a distraction. Whatever insane nonsense Trump spews that the media will chase like cats chasing a laser light is a distraction. The only story that counts right now is the wholesale hijacking of control of the US government.

Just in case you think it's all political outrage with me right now....I love penguins and I appreciate the good folks on the boat for their compassion.

Call your elected representatives! Tell them to walk in to where Elon's "engineers" are compromising oir data and safety. The time for wringing of hands is over. 5calls.org
Irony is dead in this moment along with common sense. Trump who squawked “but her emails” incessantly, let Musk (unelected/not a govt employee) send his crew of kids in to review classified information & plug devices of unknown origin into the government computer system, compromising everything.

Dear Democratic Leaders: here’s a free idea, send members of congress into the buildings where Elons people are and see what they’re doing. Dare them to stop you.

I remain deeply disappointed by the lack of any meaningful sentence for the convict who will be the next president of the United States. But I also respect @joycewhitevance.bsky.social and recommend reading this piece for a different perspective.
Earlier this week I wrote that at this point, ensuring the finality of Trump’s conviction was more important than his sentence. Goven the bad hand SCOTUS unforgivably dealt, this court has done its best to stand for the rule of law. www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnb...
Opinion | The wisdom of Judge Merchan's Trump sentencing order
Judge Juan Merchan understands that jury verdicts matter. And in this case, the verdict matters more than the sentence.
