I cancelled Paramount because of Colbert and now Disney/Hulu because of Kimmel. I never imagined that Peacock would be the sole broadcast network streamer I'd have.

Culture Pop's Black Cherry flavor is probably one of the worst soft drinks I've ever had. Ugh...

I don't know who needs to hear this right: Even the smartest kid can be *that stupid* that you need to sit them down to explain the most obvious things/behaviors/norms. Don't be embarrassed. Every child needs one thing or short spelled out for them.

I'm all in favor of feel-good stories about Gen-Z kids continuing social traditions, but this article glosses over the fact that this young lady's parents bought the theater for $1m and likely footed the refurbishment bill as well. If only we all had that backing.

It's surprising that Riyoko Ikeda's The Rose of Versailles manga has never been optioned for a live-action adaptation in English. As a series of films or a TV drama, it would do incredibly well.

Wait, so somehow the 2 Looney Toons movies that were eternally abyssed were somehow (and thankfully) resurrected without an impact to WB-D's tax crap, but we still can't get Batgirl and Scooby-Doo? (Two separate movies, by the way; but they really should work together.)

Nimona still holds up after 2 years. Maybe more now than it did before.

Unless the South Park guys plan to go scorched earth with their show, they've done nothing noteworthy to stand up to this administration and its bullying tactics. The new episode's jokes were kinda funny, but they were lazy. It's mean but not thoughtfully punching up.

The most striking thing about the new Superman film is that it runs with real "third film energy." Relationships are already established, the tension with the antagonist is already escalated, and the ending doesn't leave any obvious dangling threads for another movie. All positives in my book.

The Elmo hack is frustrating but not surprising. Children's Television Workshop should move all of their accounts off of the former Twitter platform.

Who the hell even talks like Trump does? He sounds like some old-timey propaganda film. Probably not by accident.
The president has been ratioed on his own social media platform. MAGA is pissed. We need to keep hammering on this. @democrats.senate.gov @democrats-judiciary.house.gov @democrats.org

Dean Cain is an actor who was barely relevant when the played an American icon. No wonder he feels the need to go out of his way to be an ass.

Dean Cain complains James Gunn's 'Superman' succumbed to 'woke' Hollywood, too pro-immigration
Former Superman Dean Cain believes the hero has always been 'tremendously immigrant friendly,' but worries that James Gunn intends to push the character in too 'woke' of a direction.

We're way overdue for a Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter rerelease. Especially considering the current popularity of roguelikes and how the "repetitive" nature of the game goes over better on portable devices.

I seriously don't know what to do about any of this. Somehow the powerlessness I've felt for so much of my life was nothing compared to an adulthood of watching my country set aflame.

Years late, I finally watched Top Gun: Maverick. They could have done better. The scenes in jets are the best parts and only reasons to watch. Everything else? Basically all characters are underwritten, including Maverick.

Sometimes I really hate having pets. It's not the work that goes into it. It's that when they're gone you can feel the void left behind. Sounds are missing. Habits are changed. A warmth you normally feel is missing. Things have changed.

Another cat gone.

This has probably been said before, but the position of America in the world has turned Trump into Poochie. When he's around, everyone talks about him; when he's not around, everyone is constantly asking about him.

Know what? Booting Hogg sounds like the right move, but only because he was in the wrong position for what he wants to do. If he can't advocate for new blood there, then let him do it from the outside.

Mario Kart World is fun, yet it somehow seems lacking compared to other games in the series. I'm going to call it right now that we're guaranteed to get DLC. And due to the price of the game, it won't cost extra this time.

With the heavy cuts to NSF funding, many graduate students won't be able to complete their degrees, those who do won't find jobs, and so many projects are just going to die anyway.

If the US wasn't already heading toward a brain drain, this ensures that it happens.

A week from now I'll be finished with my first full year as a reading aide at my kid's elementary school. Due to budget issues exacerbated by the party in power, there is a very good chance I'm not coming back. My whole team -- gone. A level of literacy support won't be there for the kids.
