And lastly, many demons lose parts of their memories when they’re turned. My headcanon is that child Douma had emotions, but lost access to them due to his parents and being forced into the role of cult leader. I find the idea of him reconnecting with those emotions much later genuinely fascinating.

Douma’s fight with Shinobu and the others is also incredibly epic! His ice abilities? When his mask falls after Kanao confronts him? It gives me goosebumps every time. His death by irony (kind of) was perfectly executed and well deserved… I know, I’m sorry 😭 I still love Douma!

Second, I adore the Upper Moon / Muzan banter in general. Their interactions are hilarious, and the scene with their meeting made me laugh way more than I expected 😆

First of all, I love the contrast between Douma’s outward behavior and what’s actually going on beneath the surface. This carefree, cheerful, always-smiling demon turning out to be hollow inside and a monster? I love a good plot twist!

Also amazing work with the colours - Bee is SO shiny! - and the facial expressions. Heh. I want to read so much into Bee's gaze 🤣
