My first proper classic kaiju movie, it was fun! The monsters were obviously a delight and I enjoyed the human sci-fi story, though I wish they extended the first act plot threads longer since things were very dry in the middle comparatively. Good time.

Never touched this one growing up but I get why it’s so beloved, it’s a very fun game that oozes charm. I think levels overstay their welcome pretty often but it was otherwise a really great time I’m happy to have finally experienced for myself.

Bigolas was right, this is among my favorites now. It took time to get used to the blend of prose and sci-fi but it was super investing and I was increasingly sucked in to the two characters’ time spanning romance. Excellent book.

Pleasantly surprised by this one, I feel like I always ignored it and never really tried it but it’s probably my favorite of these classic Marios so far. Nice balance with fun levels but a very short run time. Not big on the Boo Houses but otherwise great.

I see why so many people love this one, it polishes a lot of ideas from the series with some fun ideas and fast levels. I have issues with it (feels like I have to click a button half a second earlier than I want) but it generally holds up still.

I should really update some of the promo art for Love & be Loved because it's so old and I've improved a lot at drawing these characters since then, but that also means I'd have to spend time drawing something that's not on a weekly schedule. Difficult choices.

I never played more than a level or two before and this truly is a strange game. Slapping Mario’s face on it makes its more puzzle-like progression jarring. I enjoyed it for the most part, but it definitely got me lost and frustrated more than once.

I am genuinely unsure if I ever actually beat this game despite the many times I’ve played it as a kid so I figured I’d do a very quick playthrough with warp pipes and NSO ust so I can say I’ve beaten the game at least once…yup, still good!

I always say every season is fun and this is no different, this was a super fun season with a super fun finale. The entire cast was unhinged in different ways and I’m going to miss this season a lot. A great series for people interested in trying the show.

I’m so sad this one had to end abruptly, because I adored it. Fascinating leads with a very engaging art style, and while it ended ambiguously on how queer the main relationship was, it definitely was a duo I’m going to miss.

Was given this in my monthly exchange club and it’s a cute, short film adapting the earliest Thomas books. I don’t have nostalgia for the series to feel too much about it, but it was cute and it’s fun how all the trains are so catty.

Replayed after like, 15 years. Still a great game (though I kinda prefer Wiimote over controller) with nonstop action and a ton of rad boss fights. Glad to revisit it finally, it’s still easily a fave.

This is one of my new favorite Pokémon games. I had a blast with it and especially with its fantastic cast. And, as someone who always loved XY and its story, I feel very vindicated. Super glad to have played it and excited to try out some post game.
