it should not. this is usually easier than trying to wrangle it all on a single disk. if you have a laptop with day two nvme that’s a good setup for dual boots.
recommend you install rEFInd to make your life easier and get familiar with how efibootmgr works.

you’ll have an easier time if you have two separate disks one for windows and one for your linux install. not partitions physical disk.

if you want to skip to 43 just do this:
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh
sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=43
reboot
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh

currently using the alpha of KDE Linux and think either this or Fedora Atomics like Silverblue or Kinoite or Bazzite might be the best thing for windows refugees going forward.
