Still, the lights were pretty.

I’ve such fond memories of going to the King’s Theatre in Glasgow to see the pantomime and Stanley Baxter was a huge part of that. A comic genius, completely brilliant actor. Rest your wee bahookie on a nice fluffy cloud and teach the angels Parliamo Glasgow.
The great Stanley Baxter has died aged 99.

By all means, have the conversation now and apply it to the current post holder.
The only thing you say to the former President is how terribly sorry you are to hear about the diagnosis and wish him, and his family, all the very best for the challenges that lie ahead.
JD Vance's reaction to Biden's cancer diagnosis: "Whether the right time to have this conversation is now or some time in the future, we really do need to be honest about whether the former president was capable of doing the job."

“Canada didn't Brexit, the U.K. Brexited, and when you left Europe, you left your cheese quota in Brussels,” he argued. “Now if you've got a problem with the cheese quota, go to Brussels and get it because you left it there.”

I’d pay good money to be in that meeting…

The Digestive biscuit, a family favourite for decades. Has to be McVities; tried lots of alternatives and nothing comes close to the original. The milk chocolate variety has been around for 100 years, wow.

Video of the gorgeous Paddle Steamer Waverley from TikTok. I remember one trip with my Granny when I was wee; middle of summer, grey skies, smirry rain and really cold. So cold that we huddled around the base of the funnels to get a heat. Happy days.

Dragon capsule definitely has a face worthy of the name when the hatch is open. Looks like something out of Star Wars / Star Trek.
I think I’ll call him Bertie. Not sure why.
His government name should probably be Bertie McBertface.

Beautiful spring day today. The snowdrops are out and the daffodils are ready to take centre stage. Spotted the moon in the sky around 4pm and with the sun still out it felt a bit special to see both at the same time.

Sometimes it’s the little wins that count the most. Chemo finishing two hours earlier than expected, deciding to come home via IKEA, taking a wander into the restaurant and discovering Festive Meatballs on the menu. Sure, it’s not ‘fine dining’ but who cares, it was an absolute treat.
