What’s worries me a lot is that nobody is disobeying to orders that are obviously in contradiction with the Constitution. US is now becoming a military state.

In Canada, and probably elsewhere, the military salute is only allowed for people wearing the uniform. That avoids having people with no clue about what the service means using it.
