Sharing someone’s intimate images without consent is a serious violation. Updates coming to the law mean:
• a substantial increase to the monetary damages victims can receive through the Civil Resolution Tribunal
• better privacy protections
• faster image removal
Because survivors deserve justice.

Yes it does. Intimate images can be real, fake, or altered. This includes digitally altered images, digitally altered videos ("deep fakes"), and AI-generated material. You can learn more here:
