No, they work very well. They are not perfect though. The thing is, you don’t need perfection on your first go. You can have “mostly there” limits that mitigate the vast number of cases.
No-one ever said our gun laws would always stop all mass shootings. They do a pretty good job though.

The terrible flaw in US policy of extrajudicial murder is that it makes it okay for other nations to do the same to US citizens. Just claim they were carrying drugs and as per US officials, it’s all fine.

In the UK, Reform leader Farage has made comments in that direction in the past. In Australia, various conservative politicians have similarly said we should move toward a US model but so far no-one takes that seriously and it’s currently not being mentioned.

1/3 of the adult population could have voted but don’t mind the result either way and chose not to use their vote. 1/3 were fully onboard with Trump’s agenda and voted for him. That means 2/3 of the US electorate supported him directly or were happy enough to see him in power.

It’s strange to see someone who got exactly what he wanted speaking out against it. Wasn’t this the plan? It was blindingly obvious that this was where RFK Jr was going to take the US. So this guy must have known this, making his new statement more about positioning for the next election.
