Disgruntled GP living Up North. Part Time Dad, Dermatologist, Gamer, Full time slob.
Fed up with our QOF meetings. Care of patients is good but we aren't ticking the right boxes so being financially penalised. Could get more QOF points but would need to increase admin time and see less patients. That doesn't seem right?

Listened to two really good medical podcasts on the way to work. Home of Medicine - hyponatraemia and RCGP learning - men’s testosterone deficiency

Trying to find old payslips so I can sort out my GP pension mess. Disheartening to see how little pay has shifted over the years.

Anyone got an Audible account? Do you still have to pay for audiobooks or are they included with the monthy sub?

Just gathering my strength to phone the drug addict who wants opiate painkillers. This is the umpteenth time they have tried.

The waiting list for NHS autism assessments has surpassed 200,000 for the first time.

Today's data shows that as of Sept 2024, 204,876 people were waiting. That's more than the population of Reading.

Children face a median wait time of a year for *first contact*.

How does BlueSky sort postings into Feeds? Do you hashtag them or is there some magic that happens in the background?

A question that has bugged me. Do larger Americano's contain more caffeine that smaller ones? Or are you simply playing more hot water? Is the espresso shot size the same in all?

#Apple refurbished store prices are confusing. £949 for an M2 Macbook air with 8GB ram. Or I can get a new M3 Macbook Aire with 16GB ram for £999. I would have hoped for a bigger discount.

Do people use social media a self congratulatory echo chamber or do you try and follow accounts that offer a opinion that contrasts with your own?
