Have you heard the saying that a Republican is someone who cannot enjoy a good meal unless they know someone else is starving? That's what it reminds me of. They're more eager about inflicting pain on someone else than they are about helping someone they love.

It's behind a paywall, but from the description of the incident that appears in the beginning, I don't see how it is possible to say she shouldn't be fired. Unless Cinnabon wants to be known for being hateful. I would define that behavior as assault.

I know a grade school TEACHER who is a mother and says she is a Christian who supports him! There are so many contradictions there. This woman is even an avid reader. How could a person who loves books have any trust in someone who burns them?

It has gotten to where the words, Christian or Patriot give me the creeps. If I see someone with a flag in their yard, my first thought is not, "They must be a kind and fair person."

We're so mired in the concept that a primary care doctor is going to be expensive, a specialist so elusive, and the insurance company so likely to deny the claim, that it makes the process sound unwieldy, but it really is best for continuity of care to operate through GP referrals.

The part that isn't working is the denial of care. Sick people don't just go away because they are poor, and there are many consequences to our nation's stability if we ignore this basic need.
