I don't want to be too harsh here, but someone with "ally" in their bio ought to know better. The 60s sucked. We were murdering Vietnamese peasants abroad, lynching black people in the south, criminalizing LGBT folks, red scare proxy wars, federal crackdowns on dissent, etc etc. Neat songs though.

I love Dracula, but yeah, the back half of that book is bogged down with so much bizarre religious monologuing

They got it on Tubi for free. A lot more plucky and adventurous, and a way lower body count, but there is a scene where they fight the Thing while it's on fire that's actually jawdropping.

Honestly what a terrific idea. They can shoot priests on camera, public officials on camera, ordinary protesters on camera, and they'll look like monsters, but they're OK with that.
Shooting a frog-suiter? Then they'll look ridiculous. They can't stand to look ridiculous.

I remember some people got kind of mad at Love Death and Robots when they cast Mr. Beast as an announcer for a dystopian dinosaur gladiator death race in space, but...honestly? Perfect guy for the role, which will get retroactively better the more people he maims and/or kills on his shows
