Zelenskyy pointed to the continued flow of foreign components used in Russian missiles and drones, including from Europe, saying these supply chains must be shut down.

On Europe’s defense posture, he said the “Coalition of the Willing” is a positive step, but compared it to “a child’s first step,” arguing that Europe now needs “adult steps forward,” including deeper collective defense capabilities.

Zelensky added that talks on the “prosperity package” are still ongoing, describing it as a set of documents that requires clear and transparent financing mechanisms.

He said Ukraine needs to understand where reconstruction money will come from and what the country can realistically count on in the coming years.

He also said a security guarantees agreement with the United States is ready for signing, but warned that ratification in the U.S. Congress and Ukraine’s parliament would require “many steps.” Zelenskyy said he is now waiting for Trump to name the time and place for the signing.

Zelenskyy added that talks on a broader economic “prosperity package” are still being finalized, while the Donbas issue remains “key” and will be discussed in Abu Dhabi “today and tomorrow.”
