New York Democrats in the state legislature are expected to approve a bill on Monday that would delay until November the special election to fill Elise Stefanik’s House seat — a move that would deny House Republicans a crucial vote in the closely divided chamber.

This is one of the most egregious breaches of faith I’ve ever seen a public official commit.

Sen. Tillis convinced Hegseth’s sister-in-law to publicly sign her letter by promising to vote against Hegseth’s nomination, then voted Yes anyway, casting the deciding vote. It’s a staggering betrayal.
Exclusive | Tillis Assured Hegseth’s Former Sister-in-Law Her Testimony Could Convince GOP Senators to Vote No
The North Carolina senator provided pivotal 50th ‘yes’ vote to confirm Hegseth as defense secretary.

I hope that SCOTUS -particularly the republican bought judges realize now how big the fucked up and every time they are mentioned in the words of our country’s history they will be called out and ridiculed as they were responsible for the beginning of the end of our democracy. Fuck them.

I posted this on a reply to someone’s TikTok and got an immediate violation. Tried to appeal and they denied it. It doesn’t say who I’m referring to. They just denied it. Watch your TikTok it’s going to be very different.

Trump called Alito a day before filing with SCOTUS to delay his NY sentencing.

Alito claims "it wasn't discussed" during their call.

And Roberts wonders why SCOTUS credibility has turned into flaming dog shit.

Alito and Trump make the Supreme Court’s troubles even worse
As the far-right justice faces yet another controversy, he doesn’t exactly have a deep reservoir of credibility he can turn to in response.

Canada do not elect your version of Trump. And Do not let Elon in your country. Be smarter than the ignorant uneducated Americans who voted for that crap.
Pierre Poilievre has been in politics for 20 years, he's written 0 legislation; has one of the highest pensions in government. He's voted against the environment & climate nearly 400 times, derailed legislation to benefit workers, and voted against affordable housing initiatives.

I think the more horrifying implication of all of these companies getting rid of their DEI programs - even more so than the loss of these programs themselves - is, like. Those programs exist to insulate them from civil rights lawsuits. Which means they're not worried about those lawsuits anymore

Dear Joe,

I know it feels really wrong to order your AG to release a Special Counsel report because that’s been a bad thing to do for so long. But the Supreme Court says it’s okay now. It’s legal. It’s an official act.

So go ahead, Mr. President. It’s normal now.
