Anna and I spent the afternoon at Bluffs Mountain Outfitters, Gentry Hardware, and Vinyl Pie Pizza — recipients of the Western North Carolina Small Business Grant Initiative — as well as Big Pillow Brewing to check up on their progress rebuilding after Helene. I can vouch for the pizza and beer.
