I did not paint in watercolor for decades. On saturday > this. Intentionally I did not check beforehand how a woodpecker or a female deer look. The little cross high up on the right signals: stop now - no further additions. My professor often did this after checking our work.

This is my late dad I once was allowed to clad as a LARP wizard. He totally lent in and afterwards said to us: "You weirdos.." Yep.

A birthday cake for my beloved one. Recipe is called "death by chocolate" and although I tried to camouflage it with edible 23 carat gold* leaf it still reminded me strongly of the Princess Bride resurrection pill.*: ca. 0.2 percent gold is stored in every human body. You know, this supernova-thing.

Aquarel painted during my studies: I regret the jade I added in the background - this looked way better without. Now we have kidney beans on spinach.

I really like the late Robert Blake in Twin Peaks - what a charming, skilled actor. Plus I find him beautiful.

Looking forward to summer: my avenue lined with linden trees. When the trees are blooming I cycle the say 200 m boulevard down, turn around to to the start, cycle down again. Plus might repeat this like I did last year.
Best scent when the air is a little humid.

Great evening at my fav LARP tavern - new chars, loads of food shared with each other, great music on the tiompan. A gentle priest tried to heal my broken shoulder (offtime fact) and it actually feels better oO. A disproportionately high amount of players are in IT. Ya, leave the keyboard & go wild.

Despicable Me - ever so too-analytic. But at least I hit the complementary color to beige here - shadows are never just black.

Ok - Stranger Things > inspired by Steven King, who is a great admirerer of Ray Bradbury > The Halloween Tree (heavily recommended). I love it when things are entwined. This is a picture by Edward Hopper I choose for the cover of a short story collection pocket book during studying graphic design.

Back to the crime-mystery-comedy series Twin Peaks - I did not remember that it was so humorous. Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson, Stan Laurel - all in 👍

On my way to school I had to cross a small bridge across a norrow part of the zoo - every now and then a eastern grey kangaroo that had escaped its enclosure jumped along the path beneath the bridge. I was fully awake during schooltime. Adrenaline! Pic via Wikipedia, Charles J. Sharp.

Ole Munch after munching on the cookie made by him and Dots family. What the brothers Coen left out/left it to the viewers to deducate: as from now on, he lives with the family. Have a great new year!
