To be honest I'm not his biggest fan, but I enjoyed these ones

Playing Knights of the Old Republic 2 on my Steam Deck. I like it, but it doesn't half crash a lot...

Why have Scotland persisted with Steve Clarke? Should've been let go after the Euros. Just so uninspiring watching this team

It's a "No thanks" to the Switch 2 from me as it stands. Just too expensive, particularly the games, and although the new Donkey Kong looks great it's not enough to get me to drop nearly £500. Will just wait and see how things shake out...

Watched The Legend of the Stardust Brothers (@thirdwindow.bsky.social blu-ray is pretty nice) and the guy who sings the two best songs in the film is Kiyohiko Ozaki, an old Japanese pop singer. Further digging resulted in this banger (among others): www.youtube.com/watch?v=omm7...

Netflix adding a bunch of old J-Dramas is a nice surprise, started watching one from the 90s called Beach Boys the other day and about halfway through now, really enjoying it so far.

It's comfy, warm, nostalgic, and the characters are all very charming and have a really infectious, upbeat chemistry

Some good news for a change: Hirokazu Kore-eda is making another Netflix series, and it'll be out at the beginning of January next year. If it's even half as good as The Makanai was it's going to be well worth watching!

Wee Day of the Dead rewatch tonight. 📽️

It's my favourite of the Dead films, just ahead of the original Dawn. Grim, tense, pessimistic, and with some incredibly memorable special effects. It's also heartening to know that alligators survived the zombie apocalypse...

A mixed bag for me this week. Two stinkers, one great rewatch, and an interesting and fun first time watch (the special effects and prop-work in The Incredible Shrinking Man are really charming and impressive)

I have no idea what I'm doing here, and no clue who to follow... Are there any nice film-related accounts?
