After 3 days and many hours the female Desert Wheatear, a rare vagrant visitor to the UK, finally came out of the Bridging Camp compound on Tuesday morning. Just long enough for a few shots.

Had to have a look at the Boat-tailed Grackle at Calshot. After all it crossed the Atlantic on a ship to get here.😉

My final attempt to influence the RSPB regarding their current plan to downgrade Radipole and Lodmoor. This time I agued for special status for Radipole as you can see. I have recieved a response that this has been forwarded to their Senior Site Manager, Peter Robertson.

Snipe, Great White Egret and female Bullfinch all from Lodmoor in the last few days as well as a Marsh Harrier at Radipole.
