I think it works in the context of the Resident Evil games.
RE1: mansion/lab in the mountains
RE2: start in police station
RE3: start as ex-police officer
RE4: special agent in rural Spain
RE5: anti-terorist agent
RE6: Same as 5
RE7: trapped in in house in the deep South
etc... (ran out of space)
