Oh whoa, that's eclectic. Mine's basically "Kid who was really into baseball in the early '90s and had read some baseball history books."

I play a fair bit of basketball grid as well. I know less about the NBA than baseball history, so my selections are a bit more concentrated there (though, when in doubt, Moses Malone or Rod Strickland is never a bad guess.)

Here it is for my phone (I sometimes also play on my laptop, so picks might be slightly different there):

Cool birthday present from @baseballkate.bsky.social just arrived. To honor its subject, I put the thing on as fast as I could.

Kate and I often miss teams when we are traveling. It was cool to get to a Washington Nationals game on a trip to DC we just returned from.

Disaster struck when I attempted to list Dale Murphy as a Phillies first baseman. I have a distinct memory of him being in an infield conference near that position during a game. Memory is so fallible sometimes.

For today's Immaculate Grid. This is fairly beatable, but it's also not my worst work.

Working on a genealogical project for my family and am somewhat fascinated to see my great-grandmother (holding the American flag at right in the middle row) was in an interracial school class in Oakland in 1915.

Saw Green Day (and Smashing Pumpkins and Rancid) in September. They were awesome live. Still waiting to see a good Pumpkins show, which bums me out a little.

I think this counts. Folks picked up the sweatshirt on a trip to the Hall in recent years. (I text my wife photos of me and the boy (Benji) during the day.)
