Belters both Gary. Think FB might be next on the list for me nowadays.

My favourite Waterboys these days and it’s a high bar. A contender.

A strong contender.

High praise to make your 5 from 151 records 👌👍

I’ve not even heard it ☺️☺️☺️ I’ll put that right now Kev..

Yes it’s fab. The 12” was the first record I bought of theirs. Absolutely loved it/them.

I had the 12” (long gone, sadly). It must be on Melting Pot? I haven’t played that for ages but that’s a cracking comp (but no Indian Rope was criminal).

I’ve only ever played the record. Flows perfectly to me.

Bought it the day it came out. I really don’t want TOOIK on it! (Even though I love it..)

A fair response under the circumstances I’d imagine 😂

Well it’s certainly not the Talk Talk debut! Yes, I think we’re on the same page. I’ve never even heard of FA Joe (though I know the members)!

One of those is all but a cert for me.

A blind spot for me. I do like Tina though. Prefer the Tom Tom Club 😊

Tears For Fears, The Hurting (1983)

I bought the 7” of Mad World 43 years ago. Loved this album a lifetime. The songwriting and arrangements are simply timeless.

All these early 80s pop albums do to me, Rob. A pinnacle for pop music for me (though I’m biased, I guess!).

Ooh that’s a beauty..

ABC, The Lexicon Of Love (1982)

Continuing the pure pop theme with this extraordinarily accomplished debut.

Sorry to hear this. She looks like a real cutie and I’m sure you gave her a wonderful life.

Mick Karn is understandably the New Romantic bassist choice for the cool crowd, but Taylor is so underrated!
