I came to the same conclusion. Jack’s premise makes for a nice story, but Trump and his band of incompetent chucklefucks are way too stupid and lack any semblance of nuance for this thesis to be taken seriously.
It’s way more likely that MTG is planning a run for Governor or Senator.

It’s a form of enshittification, and @tvmojoe.bsky.social is correct, Apple TV is the only player that doesn’t force ads on you. It will show Apple TV+ previews by default, but this can be turned off in the settings. Fire TV and Google TV are even worse than Roku. FWIW, I find Apple TV far superior.

Surveillance equipment is ubiquitous in any population center. I’ll be much more concerned if the regime finds a way (via SCOTUS) to force in-person voting. That could lead to intimidation campaigns stationed by armed thugs at places where people of color vote.

Southern Californian here! I haven’t voted in-person for many years. Everyone I know who’s voting in this election is either mailing their ballot in or popping it into a drop-off box (my personal preference). I think there will be a lot of bored DOJ agents on November 4th.
