So…I too was of the same mind but travelled to Perth for the first test and was sat with the BA and have to say I was surprised at how nice most were and moreover how absolutely outstanding their support was despite the team not deserving it - speak as you find I guess…

It was disastrous and not just on the field - absolutely atrocious PR post match with zero recognition of the unwavering support from the fans which blew me away - ‘it’s the way we play’ just isn’t acceptable.

Small sample size but I was in Perth for the 1st test and the drop off in pace from 1st to 2nd innings was very noticeable and the Australian batters cashed in (admittedly I think our heads had gone and the bowlers only had 2 sessions rest, but…)

What would you do?

It’s whether they go with Bashir / Jacks for some balance / nuance or Potts - personally I’d play Jacks.
