And the thing that really matters here is that the rules are for everyone. So if we, world leader in military, are not following the rules, it means that no one has to. As a spec 4 serving in the Army I knew the rules would still make a capture hard, but survivable. How must soldiers feel?

Yes. I think this is true. My parents were very young..and hip and so they were part of the "hippie-long haired-woodstock" people the previous generation was railing about along with Vietnam. I mean long hair was a real issue with these people. ha ha
