It was a harsh red for Koki but I can understand the referee's decision as he left his studs on the back of his leg, no matter how straightforward the 'take it for the team' foul was. He tried for a yellow and got it wrong.

How was that not a penalty or at least an indirect for obstruction when that Neanderthal dragged Saito down on the goal line? Ref has whistled every single other block or hold or pull, but that one oh no that's too early in the game to give a penalty!

Not an awful performance today. Did everything in the second half but score. Defensive lapses cost us. YMH looked decent, will improve as he settles. Loved the effort from Alfie leading the line.
