The risk is if they put someone like Yuki in who has been impressive and they still have problems it will indicate that it the car. That they need to fix the car or expect the same results.
That will alienate Max if they do it, and if they do not they will be exposed if Max leaves.

Europe will have to step away out of self preservation.
The same goes for Canada.
The benefit of not being in America is that it is easier to see that need, and act.
I expect governments knew this moment was coming. Untangling how integrated we are will take time to undo.
