The “Drip” effect is mainly created by applying the “CC Smear” FX onto a text layer and adjusting the “From/To” property points to specific areas of the text and animating the “Reach” property.

The “Drip” effect is mainly created by applying the “CC Smear” FX onto a text layer and adjusting the “From/To” property points to specific areas of the text and animating the “Reach” property.
In addition to the previous effects I talked about last post, I also added a shape layer with 2 rectangles for end screen videos and added the “Glow” & “Fractal Noise” FX to them.

The Motion Tile FX was especially important as that was what controlled the overall movement of the lines within the grid, achieved by key-framing the tile center’s position. The rotation of the grids, however, was thanks to linking both grid layers to a null object and animating the Z rotation.

Both @motionbyscott & @jakeinmotion made great, in-depth tutorials that I followed and practiced with! I also wanted to apply what I learned with a small scale test with my Project Jay logo
The animation is def rough but it really helped to apply the tutorials to my own projects as time went on🔥
