Regulation was the primary target both sides of the pond.
Capitalism only worked as a compromise with robust regulation.
Greed is an addiction and like all addictions there is an endless need for more.

100%! but it stopped 'Creeping' started Marching, made camp in D.C.and is now becoming institutionalised.
Democracies biggest challenge is it's dependence on the integrity and responsibility of it's Citizens.
You get what you built and maintained.
If it's not worth it, why not and who still cares?

This move to prioritise ideological client media outlets is a direct threat to democratic accountability. By limiting independent reporting & amplifying favourable coverage, it distorts public perception & normalises govt control over information. This is creeping authoritarianism.

The Chinese people are some of the most pragmatic people in the world and want a better future for themselves and will make it theirs.
If the C.C.P. can continue to ’ride the Tiger' will be interesting to watch,but they do seem to be very flexible when it suits and very determined when it doesn't.
