I get they want (and absolutely should) extend the Hangman/MJF feud to All Out, but this week’s story progression leaned into MJF-ism’s and it was a bummer. The sort of MJF “creative” that feels needlessly convoluted and half baked.

Hangman and Moxley are just incredible together! Their rivalry is on equal footing with Hangman/Swerve as the best in AEW history. Insane that Hangman is in both, but not really! Because he’s one of the best ever.

Again, with Omega, Ospreay, Takeshita and Samoa Joe absent for the foreseeable future; extending a proven/quality drawing feud in Hangman vs. Moxley for a couple weeks for a TV defense makes sense.

The Young Bucks broke/no power & Moxley scared/no confidence arcs presented on Dynamite move me. I like it. Hopefully these attributes carry on for a bit.

I’ve had my qualms with this run, but boy has Jon Moxley been the perfect heel for this specific build and storyline with Hangman.
He’s not the emotional core or has the most character depth, but he plays the perfect toxic-masculine, brick wall villain for this specific story. It works so well.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.
