I really love having a place for my bad movie takes, so I’m gonna resolve to challenge myself to watch more documentaries in 2026!
I’ve never been hyped on documentaries, but have enjoyed a few, especially music focused. So, 2x a month, watch a documentary! 1 has to be music and 1 is wildcard!

A pretty heavy and personal medical matter that’s made into a pretty neat and digestible documentary. Very blessed and rich lives we get to watch and all in all, a really touching story. 6/10!

Closing out the year with Good Boy! That’s a solid 8.25/10. Loved the movie, love the camera work, and loved INDY!! The story was well told and the sound design was incredible. Really good movie and glad I thought to watch! See ya in the new year for more cats, sandwiches, and bad movie takes.

The Bobby from Capriotti’s: 8.75/10. First time with this massive sando and WOW. Perfect amounts of turkey, cranberry and stuffing. The flavor was SO freaking good, just wish this was hot - but my fault for not asking! Would get again! Happy Thanksgiving!

While I didn’t get to watch that many scary movies this year, the 4 I hit were good and I ALMOST got though Hell House LLC which so far has been great.
I just do this for myself at this point hahahaha.

Spooky SZN Movie 4: V/H/S/Halloween. Man, like a 9.5/10. It really was a cautionary tale row than anything about Halloween shenanigans. Great kills, fun through story line, some great scares and just fun. Now I’m really starting to feel the season!

Spooky SZN Review 3: Night of the Reaper. A smooth 8/10. Nostalgia factor off the charts. There were so many great hits that just felt almost like a parody but damn if it didn’t have so many twists. Real fun! Would watch after another in the babysitter slasher sub genre.
