Let's hope so.

The BBC probably has ethical questions to answer. Should people be exposed to potentially long term injury consequences of taking part in the show?

He seems to be looking at things.

And everyone gets to the pub at least an hour earlier.

Surely a Rushcliffite?

OK then... Will there be a Borderlines Vol 2?

Bought one when our son was born. He was 9lb8oz. Wore it once, got backache, donated it to NCT.

Does the data say that these people are "Brits leaving" or could they be people born in other countries with 2 passports moving to another country? Not so easy for people with only UK passport to move abroad permanently.

No, but that's not to say that most charities do not do good work or that only MH or DV charities have value. IMO, MH and DV really should be taxpayer financed - it's disappointing that charity has to fill the gap. Same could be said of med research/care charities (e.g. MNDA). Imperfect world.

Depends which meaning of "content" is being used. Emphasise the second syllable and everything improves.

These two lunatics came from Cats Protection. Their original owner had a mental health crisis. CP offered support, vet care, but ultimately they were fostered. Honoured to give them a permanent home/furniture to shred.

Your argument that the well funded charities don't need support is very flawed. If people stopped funding well-supported charities like the Dogs Trust, they would quickly become an underfunded charity. As I said, your argument is flawed and illogical. Love to Henry Scampi, nonetheless.

Of course, others might give to charities that I don't value highly. But I'm not appalled by that. It's their decision. Provided the charity is well run and does a minimum of harm, then people should be free to give as they please. Is there a more efficient way to do it? Almost certainly.

Thinking more about this. Giving to charity is an intensely personal decision. The state does not, cannot and should not fund everything. The gaps can be partly filled by charity. Individuals can give to whichever cause they feel strongly about - for me, cats, MND, plants, Parkinsons. Why not?

So you would have disapproved if say, the NT had been nominated? Assets £1.5bn. Only broke/skint charities should be nominated? Illogical.

Platforms should never be numbered zero. King's Cross, famously. It is OK to renumber platforms when additional platforms are built - a few temporary signs to aid travellers will deal with any short term confusion.

My mother was significantly disadvantaged in school because she was told that she held her cutlery and her pen wrong and spent years learning to do it the "right way". These stone age attitudes harm lives. Grow up.

Although I do worry that when the Russians or aliens come, your house/garden will be glowing so brightly on their systems that you will be first to be eliminated!

Why appalled? That seems very strong reaction. My experience of working w/ all sorts of charities is they're (usually) run by people passionate about a cause who are trying, often in a small way, to make the world better. That's laudable. Strangely, animal charities often end up helping people too.

Interesting to have one outdoors too. It's amazing how much light is cut even by good quality glass.
