Everyone’s first note they create when they first start learning about a note taking framework is about that framework.

And it seems like it’s also most people’s last note in that framework.

Just spent a day de-framework-ifying my #Obsidian vault and man does it feel like less mental load now

They really aren’t super comfortable as a side sleeper, and I don’t know that the sound quality was any better or worse than cheap headphones

Though as a bedtime #ASMR fan the added vibration of the headphones was an interesting sensation

This specifically is SO helpful to me. I was getting frustrated that a few pieces of Waywright just didn’t feel right. So I wrote out the outline and talked my way through it.

Such a useful way to work logically through issues and figure them out

The other trick is to literally do the design work by talking out loud.

The second you hear an idea, you'll go, "well that sounded good" or "oof, that makes no sense when I put it that way"

It's what I used to tell students when editing their papers. Read it out loud, you'll hear if it's good.

I'm used to hunting my AirPods down through all of my blankets every morning, so at least the hooked ones with a small neck band will be easier 🤣

I think the brand I picked up (Shokz) comes with earplugs in the pack, so you can have both.

I figured that since in-ear headphones gave me an ear infection (through no fault of their own, I'm the dummy wearing them to bed) the earplugs would be a waste, but I can totally see that utility

These are the follow up to the bone conduction ones for sure, I wanted something that could feasibly work for sleep or at my desk but I do worry that the bone conducting ones won't be great for a side sleeper

I tried them on at Costco the other day and was surprised at how clear they were, and how little sound leakage they really had. They aren't as high fidelity as something like over-the-ear headphones or AirPods Pro

Are they good for sleeping in? No idea, but at least I can return them to Costco lol

I usually wear them to bed (which I realize, post-ear-infection, is a bad idea) and it drives me nuts when I can hear my heartbeat with them in

I'm trying some bone conduction headphones to sleep in now, because I just can't do it anymore 🤣
