I'm frequently asked questions by my young nephews along the lines of "When you used to play Minecraft, could you [insert any feature introduced since the early versions]?" When I reply "No," their reactions are like I'm telling them I was alive during the Industrial Revolution.

If it makes you feel even slightly better, I've been reporting these reviews to Steam each time you post one. I'm sure others have been doing the same. If people make enough noise, they'll likely make changes just to reduce their workload.

I'm seeing people commenting on the original post that you need to accept using generative AI in your process, to adapt, evolve and not get left behind. Nothing about using this technology makes the end product better than not using it. All it offers is the ability to cut corners. No thanks.

Making the product free now means that you no longer own a license, meaning support, bug fixes and future updates are no longer guaranteed. Many features are locked behind a Canva subscription, and the addition of generative AI tools will be a turn off for many, regardless of the option hide them.
