That's some tech. Am i right in thinking Cori Steel Cutter doesn't need to be controlled when you cast your first spell (this one), so any spell after this will get you a 1/1?

Haste is probably the second-best ability on a Commander (after Shroud/hexproof). The ability to take advantage of opportunities when others make them is very strong.

The same thing happened with Overwatch, with generally balanced fun patches getting reverted because of extreme applications. Pros want a very consistent experience so they can practice and steamers want something that's entertaining for 1000hrs of content.

I wonder what the environment of this is now. With big streams promoting a specific type of play but lots of talking heads letting people know that there are other ways to play. Interesting as well that the 24 edition curved hard towards how the game was being played, not how it was og written

Trolly problems have the intrinsic flaw of being designed to create a specific outcome. Better training is "How would you stop this from happening in the first place?"

I always liked the Dresden Files' approach of simple human denial. But something like "The Veil", you can apply many verbs to it. It can be parted, torn, or drawn over.
