I doubt female agents are allowed near the Epstein files. Look what happened when MTG saw them. She flipped out and quit. A commission of distinguished leaders is going to be needed to reveal the corruption, suppression of these files, and violations of Constitutional rights by this administration.

The end of corruption by money in politics has to be a high priority for any politician I would vote for. Ending Citizens United is job 1. Campaign reform is needed. Corruption destroys societies and economies. PACs must be 100% transparent and taxed to provide funds to both candidates.

Their lack of basic decency is astonishing. The use of violence is not a joke. Murdering injured civilians (no proof these are even paramilitary) is a war crime. Hegseth should impeached, tried and sent to Leavenworth. He is making our military into monsters.

Any war at that scale will cost hundreds of billions of dollars and will likely fail. Even if Maduro flees to Russia, that does not mean Venezuela won't cost us in blood and treasure. These people are criminally stupid.

Been awhile since I have seen a NYT piece worth reading. I think the reflection at the end about how Americans viscerally understand that the gov and elites are dismissive of the lowly public is accurate.

I mean yeah, we are talking TX. I love Crockett, but I am not convinced she is electable over Cornyn. Talarico speaks directly about our obligation to help the poor. I do wonder if his sermons on Jesus make many uncomfortable with their greed and hatred for people of different ethnicities.

Talarico could win if he can get a good campaign put together. TX is a big state and organization/dollars count. I don't know how he is received by evangelicals since he openly reminds Christians about the teachings of Christ. Christ as friend to the poor, strangers and sick. He is a great speaker.
