This is a concept piece in process. It's been awhile since I've tried something new with paint. It feels good. This needs time to dry and marinate in my brain... But I like where it's going.

One of the first pieces I have finished in a while. During times of distress, creating is hard for me. Which is ironic because it's also the thing that brings me peace and balance.
I need to create my own worlds.

I've been going to experimental and noise music shows and painting while I listen to the set. Interpretation of sound through music I guess.

It's been a fun challenge and shaken me out of my norm a little.

New social media stresses me out, but so do billionaire tech bros and nazis. I am definitely working to move my creative community from IG to BlueSky and/Cara but here are some app to check out if you want to move too.

Mixed media play. Experimenting with new mediums and layering techniques.

It's hard to feel like part of a community in a place that openly devalues safe community.

So I'm actively looking to make change.
