I’m about 75% in agreement but the most compelling counterargument I’ve seen is that a lot of COVID-era supports expired under Biden and this may have increased a sense of precarity even with the strong economy

I’m generally sympathetic to this view but it’s complicated by the fact that a lot of COVID-related benefits expired during Biden’s term, something that would not show up in jobs or labor income data:
