Almost any conversation with any friend from Germany where I grew up about children at some point comes back to climate change and the right-wing shift around the world which is accelerating it and making many countries worse to live in, in the meantime.

The problem is that it is almost impossible to see the effects because you can’t test for it in isolation. The best Childcare in the world wouldn’t solve that climate change will have giant impacts and it is impossible to say how that will change the world we live in, but it probably will be worse.
